Así es la esperada lista de canciones del juego ha sido anunciado (salvo una), y la verdad es que está bastante buena, aunque dos de mis discos favoritos han sido ignorados casi por completo; me refiero al Beatles For Sale y al Help!.

Ah, y parece que entre los muchos extras, estará un disco de navidad entero que hicieron los Beatles en los 60s.

The Beatles: Rock Band - Nuevo trailer

Nuevo trailer, que muestra ocho nuevas canciones, y más algunas nuevas anunciadas, ya la lista llega a 25 anunciadas de un total de 45. Personalmente, no podría estar más satisfecho con canciones como "I've Got a Feeling" y "Revolution".

Descubriendo The Replacements

Me he bajado tres discos, que planeo escuchar. Agradezco a Rock Band 2 por introducirme a "Alex Chilton", que procedo a poner en vivo en forma de video.

Sin ánimo de ponerme muy repetitivo, comparto ahora algunas capturas de mi juego más anticipado del año. Vean.

"Get Back", confirmadaza. Aunque todavía falta que confirmen a Yoko Ono de fondo.

"Day Tripper", también confirmada. Espero que se dé lo mismo con "We Can Work It Out".

¿Quién dijo que los gráficos no están a la par?

El juego se ve claramente basado en el Rock Band original, aunque con tres voces en vez de una, y gráficos como para conmover a cualquier fan de los Beatles. Personalmente, no puedo esperar.

Las guitarras de The Beatles: Rock Band

Ya anunciaron las tres réplicas de guitarras que saldrán a la venta acompañando el lanzamiento de mi juego más anticipado: The Beatles: Rock Band. 

Una corresponderá a George, la otra John, y la otra, obviamente a Paul. vean.

Las otras dos se explican solitas:

LEGO Rock Band

Han confirmado un spin-off de la saga de Rock Band, nada más y nada menos que LEGO Rock Band. Todavía me mantengo un poco escéptico, porque no le veo totalmente el sentido, pero supongo que no estará de más adquirirlo cuando salga. 

Sin embargo, el otro juego que preparan los creadores, y a estas alturas ya todos deberían saberlo, es The Beatles Rock Band, y ese sí es probablemente mi juego más anticipado del año.

En todo caso, para LEGO Rock Band, ya confirmaron algunas canciones, entre las que se encuentra "Song 2" de Blur.

Llega mi beatle favorito a Lima a finales de agosto, pero lo que pocos saben es el verdadero motivo de su llegada: promocionar el nuevo juego The Beatles Rock Band. Vean el afiche.

Está de más decir que TODOS vamos a ir al concierto, pero sólo unos cuantos seleccionados comprarán el juego.

Como ya saben, acabo de obtener Rock Band 2, y la primera canción que jugué fue esta:

De alguna forma que no puedo comprender del todo, las canciones están incluso mejores.

Así es, el juego está en mi poder tres días antes de la fecha oficial de salida, e incluso los creadores del juego aplauden esta transgresión.

Bob Dylan & Rock Band

En este blog, como quizás ya hayan notado, somos fans de Bob Dylan. Además, también somos seguidores del excelente videojuego Rock Band. Con tales premisas, resulta obvio que, al unirse ambas en la forma de una canción de Bob Dylan presente en Rock Band 2, no haya más que entusiasmo por parte de este genial blog.

Expresando tal entusiasmo, tenemos, en primer lugar, un fragmento de una entrevista a uno de los developers de Rock Band 2, justamente sobre cómo consiguió meter una canción de Dylan en el juego. Veamos.

GN: Bob Dylan makes sense for Harmonix to pursue, but I was a little surprised he agreed to have a song in a videogame. How did you end up nabbing Dylan and why did you choose "Tangled Up in Blue"?

Brosious: When we approached Bob Dylan, he was enthusiastic and actually took the time to go through his catalogue and gave us a number of song suggestions he thought would work well. We ended up with "Tangled" because obviously it's a great, great song and it had really cool parts. I remember the first time we put the tracks up, the entire audio dept. gathered around and listened to the drums. They sounded like the freshest, most modern, hip-hop beat you ever heard.

Y en segundo lugar, ponemos un reloj (arriba) en cuenta regresiva hasta el launch del juego, ¡en ya menos de un mes!

Tangled Up In Blue

Una de mis canciones favoritas de Dylan, sin lugar a dudas, es Tangled Up In Blue; y hoy fue anunciada como parte de la alineación de más de 80 canciones de Rock Band 2. Se ha vuelto, sin duda, mi canción más anticipada del juego de lejos, y eso que tiene otras como Aqualung de Jethro Tull, Alive de Pearl Jam y Today (!!!) de los Smashing Pumpkins.

Para celebrar, pongo la versión original, que estará presente en el juego, con la impresionante letra, que ya me sé prácticamente de memoria.

Rock Band 2!

Ya desde hace unas semanas se anunció el nuevo Guitar Hero, llamado Guitar Hero World Tour, que incluye, copiando a Rock Band, una batería y un micrófono, además de la guitarra. No negaré que me sentí tentado por ciertas mejores, pero a la vez, me mantuve firme en que la respuesta de Harmonix (creadores de Guitar Hero, pero que después del 2 se fueron de Activision e hicieron Rock Band) sería más que satisfactoria.

Y justamente, hoy fue anunciado Rock Band 2, ¡y sale nada menos que en septiembre para Xbox 360! O sea, faltan... ¿tres meses?

No hay todavía muchos detalles, pero prometen la mejor lista de canciones hasta ahora un juego de música, todas las versiones originales. Personalmente, yo les creo, y moveré mar, tierra y cielo (¿así se dice?) para obtenerlo en septiembre.
